Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Thrrive LLC (“Thrrive,” “we,” or “us”) operates thrrive, a read-only personal net-worth tracker. We connect to your financial institutions in read-only mode — we cannot move money or place trades — and show your balances, holdings, and trends in one place. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

• Your account: a username and a securely hashed password.
• Financial data: account names and balances, holdings, transactions, and net-worth history for the accounts you connect or add.
• Connection credentials: the access tokens that let us read from your connected banks and brokerages, stored encrypted (see Section 4).
• Optional AI analyses: portfolio analyses you choose to generate, and your in-app settings and goals.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with a small set of providers only as needed to run the app, and we never sell your data:

• Teller and SnapTrade provide the read-only connections to your banks and brokerages.
• Yahoo Finance supplies market prices; we send only ticker symbols, never your personal information.
• Anthropic powers the optional AI analysis, and only when you choose to run one. We send an anonymized financial summary — your net worth, balances, top holdings, and institution names, with accounts identified only by generic labels (e.g. “brokerage #2”) — never your name, email, account names, login credentials, or account numbers.
• Railway hosts the app and database. Resend will handle transactional email (e.g., password reset) once enabled.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy — Teller, SnapTrade, Anthropic, and Railway.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Connection credentials are encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed, and every request runs over HTTPS. Bank and brokerage connections are read-only, and your data is isolated to your own account. Our Security page describes these controls in more detail.

5. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising or tracking.
• We do not initiate transfers, payments, or trades on your accounts.
• We do not share your data beyond the providers in Section 3.

6. Your Choices and Data Retention

You can disconnect a bank or brokerage at any time, which removes its stored credentials. We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile: your account is deactivated immediately and then permanently erased after 30 days. It is reversible until then — simply log back in during that window to reactivate it. You can also email privacy@thrrive.io. Thrrive is intended for users 18 and older.
